Sylvia Jansen

My name is Sylvia Jansen.

I love nature, I love people and I love adventure and this is what I express in my paintings. My journey of painting is a long one and 7 years ago I decided to follow a professional study at the Wackers Academie in Amsterdam. My goal is to find a kind of freedom in expressing myself and my inner world.

I am concerned about all the plastic that surrounds us and this is why I initiated Plastics to Paint. The fabrics I use for these paintings are donated by Waste2Wear, a Dutch company in China that produces fabrics from plastic waste.
